David Muir was born in the US and is an American journalist. The ABC News program World News Tonight, with David Muir has been a success for many years. In addition to that the show, he is also a co-anchor of ABC News magazine 20/20. With animated animations and funny videos of celebrities' news, the show has grown to become the most watched newscast in America. Made In America has also been selected for the Emmy Awards. Before his appointment as the anchor for ABC World News Tonight Sawyer was his primary substitute. He reported on many evening ABC News specials, including Breaking Point - Heroin in America. He has reported on news across the world, including Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. He's been awarded numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards, as well as distinctions and awards by and the Associated Press.
